Wales suffered a disappointing friendly loss to Ukraine on Monday evening but there were reasons for Chris Coleman's side to be positive.
The main one was the performance of midfielder Joe Allen, who pulled the strings in midfield and played with confidence, and even took on the captaincy after Ashley Williams was substituted.
The 26-year-old has made just three Premier League starts for Liverpool this season plus eight appearances as a substitute, but looked like a weekly starter in his display against Ukraine.
He looks set to play a big role at Euro 2016, as Wales enter their first major tournament since 1958.
An Andriy Yarmolenko goal was enough to give Ukraine a 1-0 win last night, with Wales missing Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey.
Allen took on extra responsibility in their absence last night, winning the ball back at key moments and distributing it effectively, and won rave reviews from watching supporters.
Here is a look at how fans reacted on Twitter to his display...
What a player Joe Allen is, why isn't he playing for Liverpool every game. Shame about the result tonight lacked upfront.— Adam Gower (@AdamGower_) March 28, 2016
