Twitter reacts to Tottenham prospect Harry Winks' display for England under-20s

Another Tottenham Hotspur youngster shone for England on Sunday.

A big week for Tottenham Hotspur's senior players at international level for England was reflected down through the country's youth ranks.

Harry Kane and Eric Dier both scored goals for the Three Lions against Germany, following Josh Onomah netting for the under-19s, and Marcus Edwards scoring four in two games for the under-18s.

On Sunday, Harry Winks became another name to add himself to Tottenham's roll call of success this international break, from an individual stand point at least.

Winks featured for England's under-20 side in Sunday's match against Canada, selected as captain for the very first time.

While the game ended in a disappointing 2-1 defeat, Winks was England's stand out player on a milestone occasion personally.

Winks was keen to get on the ball and drive England's attack, and his display won plenty of plaudits.

The 20-year-old recently signed a new deal with Spurs, and made his first team debut last season. There is a strong chance he will soon be more involved with Mauricio Pochettino's set up, and his latest display underlined his potential.
