West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic wants to sign Gokhan Tore from Besiktas in the summer transfer window.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has told Fanatik that he wants to sign Gokhan Tore in the summer transfer window.

Tore is on the books of Turkish giants Besiktas at the moment and has a contract until June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

“Everyone knows how much I like Tore," Bilic told Fanatik. "He is a very good footballer. Of course, I would love to see him in my team, but for now we have not established direct contact with anyone."

Bilic worked with Tore at Besiktas, and it seems that he considers him good enough to play in the Premier League.

The Turkey international winger is a very good player and is very experienced, having also played in Germany and Russia in his career.

It is not always easy for players coming from the Turkish league to adapt to the Premier League, but Tore does have experience of English football.

The former Hamburg and Rubin Kazan winger was on the books of Chelsea from 2009 to 2011 and featured for the London club’s Under-21 side.

Tore would be a good addition to the West Ham squad, but it remains to be seen if the Premier League outfit are able to successfully negotiate with Besiktas, if indeed the player himself wants to move to the Hammers.
