Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Danny Rose's performance against Germany

The Tottenham Hotspur left-back featured for his country this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur have some of the finest talent in English football right now, and on Saturday evening fans of the Three Lions saw just how good those players are.

Harry Kane and Eric Dier scored for England in a 3-2 victory against Germany while Dele Alli pulled the strings in the centre of the park, but another Tottenham player also deserves plaudits for his performance further back.

Left-back Danny Rose has not always been regarded as an international quality player but on this evidence the remaining doubters should reassess their opinion.

Rose was superb against Germany and if he continues to play like this, Manchester United defender Luke Shaw will struggle to regain his place when he is back from injury.

Rose has featured 24 times for Tottenham this season, scoring one goal and providing three assists to date, and he is now well and truly the first choice option ahead of Welsh international Ben Davies at White Hart Lane.
