The talented youngster has been courted by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur also.
The youngster was highly rated in the Blues youth setup having joined the club as a 13-year-old from Benfica.
However, he has failed to agree a scholarship deal with the club, with the lack of chances for youngsters in the Chelsea first team thought to have been a major point of concern.
That had led to him looking elsewhere, with Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly interested in his signature according to the Mirror.
He cannot sign a professional contract until he turns 17, but Arsene Wenger’s side believe that the Emirates will be his next destination.
Should he sign, it will be considered something of a coup given the other Premier League sides reportedly competing for him.
They will hope he can one day become another youngster to progress into the first team, following in the footsteps of the likes of Hector Bellerin, Francis Coquelin and Alex Iwobi in recent years.
