Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday has told the club’s official website that he and his teammates are determined to win their final games of the season.
The Gers are at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment with 75 points from 30 matches. The Glasgow giants are 14 points clear of second-placed Falkirk and have a game in hand.
If Mark Warburton’s side win against Raith Rovers away from home at Stark's Park next weekend and Hibernian fail to pick up all three points against St Mirren at St Mirren Park, then the Gers will clinch the Scottish Championship title.
Rangers midfielder Halliday has made it clear that he and his teammates are determined to pick up maximum points from their final six games in the Scottish Championship.
“It is a good position to be in but there are six games to go and our aim is to go and win the remaining games,” the 24-year-old told Rangers’ official website. “We want to win the title in style because our results and performances since the start of the season deserve that.”
It is great of Halliday to show such determination, ambition and winning mentality, and Rangers fans are certainly going to love it.
The Gers have been the best team in the Scottish Championship this season, and it would be fitting if they gain automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership in style.
