Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City players were in action for England against Germany on Saturday evening.

Former Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to England’s win against Germany on Saturday evening.

England staged a successful comeback from two goals down to win the friendly international 3-2.

Toni Kroos opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, and Mario Gomez added the second in the 57th minute.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane halved the deficit for England just past the hour mark, and Jamie Vardy of Leicester equalised on 74 minutes.

Eric Dier, who is having a wonderful season for Tottenham, found the winner in the first minute of injury time.

Lineker has taken to Twitter to make a point about Leicester and Tottenham players carrying England, with the two sides also the frontrunners for the Premier League title this season.

The impact that Tottenham players Danny Rose, Dier, Dele Alli and Kane made against Germany impressed former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann and German football expert Jan Aage Fjortoft.
