West Ham midfielder says he wants this team to win Premier League title

Mark Noble

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble wants either Leicester City or Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season.

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble said on the Football Tonight show on BT Sport Europe on Friday evening (broadcast from 9pm, March 25) that he wants Leicester City to win the Premier League title this season.

“Leicester are at the top of the league by five points,” said the Englishman. “I think deep down in our hearts we would all like to see them win it.”

When asked later in the programme who he rather win the league title, Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur, if Leicester don’t, Noble said: “Arsenal.”

Leicester, Tottenham and Arsenal are first, second and third respectively in the Premier League table at the moment.

The Foxes are favourites to win the league title this season, and it seems that only Tottenham can catch them.

Arsenal are still in the hunt, but they would need both Leicester and Spurs to drop points.

Leicester have been the story of the footballing world this season, and it would be a superb achievement for them to win the league title this campaign.

Claudio Ranieri’s side, though, need to work hard as they have done since the start of the season.

The Foxes will return to action next weekend when they take on Southampton at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.
