A goalkeeper, a holding midfielder and a right-sided operator all feature.
Everton may have reached two domestic cup semi-finals this term but they will still count this campaign as a disappointment.
They have a supremely talented squad but have struggled for consistency in the Premier League this term.
Now the club will need to start considering their options for next season, and whilst they will have money to spend, they would be foolish not to look at the Bosman market.
So here are three out of contract players they should look at this summer…
Steve Mandanda – Marseille
A goalkeeper must be the priority this summer. Tim Howard is on his way to Colorado Rapids and Joel Robles needs serious competition for the first-team spot.
The French international looks like heading out of Marseille for nothing this summer and Everton would be mad to not make a move.
Ahmed Elmohamady – Hull City
The Egyptian winger can play both right-midfield and right-back - a position where Everton need to strengthen.
He has proven himself in English football with Hull and he would be a brilliant squad member at Goodison Park.
Miguel Veloso – Dynamo Kiev
Everton have strong midfield options but Gareth Barry is not getting any younger whilst Leon Osman and Darron Gibson are both out of contract.
Veloso is a Portuguese international with a knack for controlling a game from deep midfield and a wand of a left-peg.
He would make a brilliant addition to improve the Everton midfield.
