Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has told Sky Sports that he finds former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo inspirational.
Ronaldo, now on the books of Spanish giants Real Madrid, is one of the best players in the world.
The Portugal international forward has been banging in the goals for fun for the past few years and is widely recognised to be one of the greatest footballers of all time.
Lukaku has revealed that Ronaldo is an inspiration to him and is an example for every young player.
"I think he is an inspiration for every player who is working hard," the Everton striker told Sky Sports about Ronaldo. "He is the type of player who shows that hard work beats talent.
"He is a talented player but his hard work off and on the pitch shows why he is a top player and he is an example for every young player coming through."
Ronaldo has scored 28 goals and created 43 chances in 30 La Liga appearances for Madrid so far this season.
The former United star has found the target 13 times and created 19 chances in eight Champions League matches for the Spanish giants.
Meanwhile, Lukaku has scored 18 goals and created 47 chances in 29 Premier League matches for Everton so far this campaign.
The 22-year-old Belgium international is one of the best and most promising young strikers in Europe.
