Everton hitman Romelu Lukaku will not leave Goodison Park for anything less than £56 million this summer amid speculation linking him with a return to Chelsea, according to The Sun.
The 22-year-old striker has been in red-hot form for the Toffees this season, netting 25 goals in all competitions to justify the club's decision to smash their transfer record with a £28 million swoop from Chelsea in 2014.
One of his most impressive displays came against his former club two weeks ago, with the big Belgian netting twice on Merseyside to dump Chelsea out of the FA Cup at the quarter-final stage.
Italy boss Antonio Conte is strongly expected to take over from Guus Hiddink at Stamford Bridge after Euro 2016 (The Guardian), and The Sun claims that the Italian manager has made Lukaku his top priority.
But the report goes on to suggest that Lukaku, who never scored for the Blues in 15 competitive outings, would not be allowed to leave Everton unless they at least doubled their money on the investment.
With the Anderlecht academy product under contract for another three years, Everton certainly hold all the cards in negotiations - if it reaches that far.
