Rangers forward Martyn Waghorn has taken to social networking site Twitter to assure the fans that he is recovering well from injury.
The 26-year-old, who has scored as many as 28 goals in all competitions for the Gers so far this season, is out injured at the moment with a knee ligament problem.
The former Sunderland and Leicester City man has suggested on Twitter that he could return to action for Rangers soon.
Thanks for messages everyone! Injury is fine and things are going well! Working hard and hopefully won't be too much longer— Martyn Waghorn (@MWaghorn33) March 26, 2016
Waghorn has been arguably the best player for Rangers so far this season, but Mark Warburton’s side appear to be doing well in his absence.
The Glasgow giants are at the top of the Scottish Championship table at the moment with 72 points from 29 matches. Rangers are 11 points clear of second-placed Falkirk and have a game in hand.
The Gers will return to action this afternoon when they take on Queen of the South at Ibrox in Glasgow in the Scottish Championship.
