Danny Rose has deservedly earned an England call-up.
Rose, having previously only ever featured for the England U21 squad , has finally been called up to the senior squad by Roy Hodgson for the upcoming friendly matches with Germany and the Netherlands.
“It’s great news for Danny to be called up,” Dier explained.
“I think this season he’s been the best left-back in the Premier League so it’s well deserved and obviously the same for Dele, Harry and Kyle, everyone deserves to be in there.”

As shown by the table provided by Opta, Rose has been in terrific form this season as he contributes at both ends of the pitch in an impressive fashion.
The 25-year-old averages 1.44 interceptions, 2.5 tackles, 3.22 effective clearances, 6.22 ball recoveries and 6.61 defensive duels won per Premier League fixtures - figures among the league’s best.
Moreover, Rose is equally competent in possession as he is off the ball, providing great width down the left flank and averaging 33.89 accurate passes and one chance created via a key pass per match.
It has been a great surprise that the talented fullback hasn’t featured for the Three Lions in the past, especially considering how good his form has been since the second half of last season.
