West Ham fans rage on Twitter at Roy Hodgson's Mark Noble comments

Mark Noble

The West Ham faithful are understandably furious..

Even Roy Hodgson's biggest fan would struggle to defend the England boss after his most recent comments about Mark Noble.

It was even plausible for the neutral when they assumed Hodgson had an agenda against West Ham United (what harm does it do for anyone except West Ham fans?) or if he genuinely thought there were better options than the Hammers skipper.

But to suggest Noble - statistically superior to the majority of Premier League midfielders this season and a consistent performer for a number of years - is the 'flavour of the month' is totally disrespectful and, as usual from Hodgson, completely out of touch.

Naturally, then, West Ham fans have once again reacted in fury to the England boss's comments on Twitter.

When will Hodgson learn? Hopefully, the Three Lions won't have to put up with him for much longer... That's certainly how the Hammers will feel, anyway:
