Leeds United should look at bringing these three Bosmans in the summer.
Leeds United have had yet another tumultuous season that looks set to end in mid-table obscurity.
The club need to start planning for next season now, especially when it comes to player recruitment – although it looks like the manager role might again be the main topic of discussion throughout the summer.
So whilst Leeds will be battling to keep hold of players, who could they snap up on a free transfer this summer to strengthen their Premier League push?
Here are three options…
James Forrest – Celtic
Leeds United certainly need another wide option. Stuart Dallas is the only trusted player out wide with the club, with Jordan Botaka seemingly a forgotten man.
Forrest is out of contract in Glasgow this summer and the Scotland international will no doubt be well-known to Celtic fan Steve Evans.
Christian Santos – NEC Nijmegen
The Venezuelan international, who has a German passport, would be a fantastic signing. He is wanted by plenty of teams, so time is of the essence, but would make a wonderful signing.
He has 17 goals in 29 appearances this season and scored 23 in 34 last term. He can play through the middle or out wide and would be a magnificent signing.
Nicolai Boilesen – Ajax
Frozen out in Amsterdam this season the Danish international was once linked with some of the biggest teams in European football.
A left-back, he would offer genuine competition and back-up to Charlie Taylor – whilst he can also slot in at centre-back if needed.
