Arsenal have offered teenage sensation Alex Iwobi a new contract which includes a mega pay rise, according to The Mirror.
The 19-year-old has emerged as an exciting first-team figure in the Gunners' set up in recent weeks following excellent performances away to both Barcelona and Everton.
Last week's 2-0 win at Goodison Park saw the Nigerian-born winger score his first Arsenal goal - an accomplished finish in which he galloped through on goal before slotting past Joel Robles.
By virtue of his impact, the North Londoners have since moved to tie him down to a new deal, and The Mirror claim that one has now been offered.
If true, Iwobi, who only signed a five-year contract in October, could see his salary sky-rocket from £800 per week to £10,000 per week, according to the report.
The news is bound to please Arsenal fans, with Iwobi, who is the nephew of Bolton and Nigeria legend Jay-Jay Okocha, looking every inch the player that he has been billed to be since breaking into the senior side.
He has started seven games in all competitions this season. Only one has come in the Premier League, but there is a sense that he could have a big role to play in Arsenal's league season next term.
