Barclays’ vice chairman for health care, Michael Hill, plans to retire this year, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Bloomberg News reports that Hill, who was previously global co-head of health-care investment banking at the bank, will remain in his post until the summer, the people said, asking not to be identified because the plans are private. 

In the meantime, Bloomberg also reports that Credit Suisse named Mike Paliotta to oversee equities globally and Steven Garnett, the unit’s co-head in the Americas, will retire, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.

Paliotta will also retain his role as global head of prime services, a unit that settles trades and lends money to hedge funds, the person said, asking not to be identified because he’s not authorized to speak on the matter.
