Derby manager betting update: Wassall 8/1 for next season, two clear favourites

The latest odds for Derby's manager going into next campaign.

Darren Wassall is 8/1 to remain in charge of Derby County next season, according to Sky Bet.

Indeed, the current man in charge is being advised by Harry Redknapp but is as low as joint-fifth favourite to stay head coach at the iPro Stadium next term.

The two clear favourites, according to the odds, are Brendan Rodgers and Tim Sherwood.

Rodgers has experience getting promoted with Swansea City, as well as Premier League experience with the Swans and Liverpool. Sherwood has top-flight experience with Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, although neither spell saw him covered in glory.

Sky Bet price David Moyes as third favourite at 9/2, while Gary Rowett follows at 5/1.

Interestingly, Redknapp isn't offered as an option, with the 69-year-old suggesting he will leave if Wassall is dismissed.

Redknapp is also currently the Jordan manager, having overseen an 8-0 win over Bangladesh during his first game in charge on Thursday.
