Report: Crystal Palace and West Brom chasing Austrian talent Florian Grillitsch

Weserstadion - Werder Bremen

The Werder Bremen talent is apparently on the radar of the Premier League clubs.

Reports in Germany this week have been linking both Crystal Palace and West Brom with the potential signing of talented Austrian youngster Florian Grillitsch.

It has been reported by Fussball Transfers that Crystal Palace and West Brom are hopeful of bringing in the player during the summer.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has emerged as a real talent at Werder Bremen this season and is only contracted at the Weserstadion until summer 2017.

The report also comments on the earning ability of the Premier League. Grillitsch would stand to make a considerable amount more in salary if he did decide to swap the Bundesliga for the Premier League.

Grillitsch has played a total of 22 games for Werder Bremen this season, scoring once in the DFB Pokal against Bayer Leverkusen back in February.

West Brom look safe for next season and Tony Pulis is seemingly looking to get his affairs in order for next season early.

Palace in the meanwhile have struggled in 2016 and are still hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone and will need to improve their attacking options for next season.

It seems Grillitsch is in both club’s plans.
