The Tottenham Hotspur manager has been watching some of Barcelona's next generation.
According to a report from Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is using the international break to do a little scouting with the Argentine present for the youth match between Barcelona and Girona.
While the Spurs boss was there in part to kick-off proceedings the report also claims he was scouting, and when you consider some of the youngsters that have come through the ranks at Barcelona in the past, that would be no surprise.
Pochettino has worked wonders at Tottenham this season and with seven matches remaining they are second in the table, five points behind leaders Leicester City.
Whatever happens between now and May, expect Pochettino to already be looking to the future and planning to continue the fine work he has done in building a side that could ultimately succeed both domestically and in Europe.
While the players he watched this week are very much prospects for another day, the signings he makes in the summer will determine just how far Tottenham go in 2017 and beyond.
