Is Jeremy Helan angling for a permanent move to Wolverhampton Wanderers with these comments?

The winger is on loan from Sheffield Wednesday until the summer.

The loan capture of Jeremy Helan has proved a shrewd bit of business for Wolverhampton Wanderers so far.

Of the Frenchman's five appearances, Wolves have won twice and lost once - against promotion-chasing Middlesbrough.

Helan, who's filled in for the injured Jordan Graham on Wolves' left flank, also set up Matt Doherty's winner against Bristol City earlier this month.

And, after admitting to the club website he's enjoying his temporary spell at Molineux, the Sheffield Wednesday man appears to have hinted at a return to the Black Country next term.

“Whatever happens we will give our all for the rest of the season in every match," Helan added.

“It is also a chance for players to impress ahead of next season as people always remember how strongly you finish and that can get things looking positive for next season.”

Helan is out of contract in 15 months' time and having started just five times in the league for Wednesday this season, it's unlikely the Owls will put up too much of a fight if another club wishes to take him away.

The Yorkshire side have a wealth of options in each of the 23-year-old's primary positions, though winger Aiden McGeady and left-backs Daniel Pudil and Joe Bennett are all on temporary deals at Hillsborough.

According to Transfermarkt, Helan cost Wednesday £450,000 from Manchester City in January 2013.
