The Hammers captain's testimonial will mark his excellent service to the club.
West Ham fans can look forward to seeing Billy Bonds and Sir Trevor Brooking in the Upton Park dugout one last time. Mark Noble has made the announcement via Twitter that the two Hammers legends will be taking their place on the sidelines for his testimonial match coming up on Monday:
Noble has been at West Ham for 16 years in a career that has seen him make 376 appearances for his beloved boyhood club.
A star-studded host of names will be there to celebrate his loyalty to the club. The list of players participating include West Ham legends Paolo Di Canio, Rio Ferdinand and Ludek Miklosko. With not long to go until the game, london24.com have reported that the 35 man 'legend squad' has been finalised and also includes the likes of Lee Bowyer, Bobby Zamora and Craig Bellamy.
The Hammers captain has been in fine form this season registering three goals and four assists. His fine displays have seen pundits and fans alike call for Roy Hodgson to name him in the England squad.
In hindsight, with his testimonial on Monday, it was maybe a blessing in disguise that he just missed out this time.
