Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal? Ray Wilkins and Paul Lambert agree this team will finish higher

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are both competing for the Premier League title.

Paul Lambert and Ray Wilkins have told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on the morning of 23rd March, that Tottenham Hotspur will finish above Arsenal this season.

Tottenham currently have six point advantage over their North London rivals, but Arsene Wenger’s side have a game in hand.

Spurs have never been so close to winning the Premier League title before, but Wilkins and Lambert do not believe that Mauricio Pochettino’s men will choke.

“I still think Tottenham [will finish above Arsenal],” Lambert said. “I still think Tottenham could do it [win the Premier League title].”

“I agree,” said Wilkins. “If Leicester slip up they might get that odd occasions where they have the opportunity to get a bit closer.”

Tottenham have not finished above Arsenal since the 1994/95 campaign, but they are now in with a great chance of doing so.

Spurs in are much better form than their North London rivals, but the Gunners do have more experience of competing for the title.

Spurs and Arsenal will not just have eyes on finishing ahead of each other either, as they will be aiming to catch Leicester City.

The Foxes currently have a five point advantage at the top of the table, but they still have work to do to ensure they will be lifting the Premier League crown in May.

Tottenham return to action after the international break with a match against Liverpool at Anfield, while Arsenal take on Watford at home.
