According to reports, Steve Evans is nearing the sack at Leeds United.
With the Daily Mail suggesting that Steve Evans is close to sack at Leeds United, we take a look at three players who could benefit from a change of management at Elland Road.
Evans seems to have recently had a change of heart with Botaka, but he has consistently omitted the winger during his time in charge at Elland Road.
The former Rotherham United boss has criticised Botaka’s performance in training publicly, and the 22-year-old has barely featured recently.
Botaka has made just two starts for Leeds all season, and he has only made two appearances in 2016 in total.
Sloth has become Leeds United’s forgotten man, and whatever he does in the under-21’s does not appear to be enough to convince Evans that he is ready for a run of games in the first-team.
The Danish midfielder has excelled in development squad fixtures this term, but he has not played a competitive match since Evans took charge.
Neil Redfearn went on record to state, in an interview with Radio Yorkshire, that if he was still in charge at Leeds, Kalvin Phillips would be featuring in the first-team.
However, the youngster has rarely been selected by Evans, with others seemingly ahead of him in the pecking order.
Phillips is yet to make a start for Leeds since Evans’ arrival, and he has not been seen in the first-team since January.
