Leeds United are reportedly considering appointing Fabio Cannavaro to take over from Steve Evans.
Leeds United supporters have had a mixed reaction to the news that Massimo Cellino wants Fabio Cannavaro to be their next manager.
The Daily Mail suggest that Cellino is close to sacking Evans, with Cannavaro his first choice replacement for the 53-year-old.
Evans has been in charge at Elland Road since November, and he has managed to guide the Whites up to a mid-table spot in the Championship.
However, heavy defeats against Brighton & Hove Albion and Huddersfield Town recently, have left Cellino questioning Evans’ ability to take the club forward.
The Italian owner now reportedly wants a foreign coach to take over, and he has his sights locked on Cannavaro.
The 42-year-old’s appointment would certainly be a high profile one, and it has captured the attention of Leeds fans.
However, some argue that his managerial record is poor and that he would be a very risky appointment - considering he has no experience of playing or managing in English football.
Here is the best reaction from Leeds fans on social media site Twitter.

Doesn't matter if we have Evans, Cannavaro or even Diego Simeone in charge. As long as Cellino's here, we're going nowhere. #TimeToGoMassimo— Josh Akers (@joshakers93) March 23, 2016
