Celtic are set to play in the prestigious International Champions Cup, alongside the likes of Liverpool and Leicester City.
According to The Sun, Celtic will play in the International Champions Cup this summer, featuring some of the world's biggest teams.
The Bhoys are in a fierce battle with Aberdeen for the Scottish Premiership title, whilst Rangers stand in the way of a Scottish Cup final appearance towards the end of the season.
Already though, it seems that Celtic are preparing their plans for pre-season, with a prestigious tournament appearance allegedly on the cards.
The Sun report that Celtic are set to take part in the International Champions Cup this summer, pitting them against some of Europe's biggest clubs in a prestigious tournament.
It's claimed that Celtic have been invited to take part alongside the likes of Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, with Celtic allegedly set to take on potential Premier League champions Leicester City too.
The report claims that Celtic will receive a significant cash boost from playing in the tournament, with the fixtures set to be revealed in New York later today, with Celtic officials over in America for the announcement.
The timing could cause some issues for Celtic though, as Champions League qualifiers will be taking place this summer, meaning Celtic's trans-atlantic friendlies could create something of a fixture pile-up for Ronny Deila's men ahead of next season.
