The 27-year-old has been linked with a summer move away from Arsenal.
It was reported by Spanish publication Don Balon on Monday that the 27-year-old playmaker had grown fed up with life in North London as the Gunners look set to miss out on the Premier League title once again.
The report claimed that Ozil, a £42.5 million signing from Real Madrid in 2013, was prepared to leave the club if veteran Wenger was going to be in charge next season.
However, the German, who was convinced to join Arsenal by Wenger during a lengthy phone conversation (The Guardian), has insisted that he holds the 66-year-old in the same esteem now as he did two and a half years ago.
Ozil has been in stunning form this season, bagging 19 assists in all competitions - 18 of which came in the Premier League - as well as scoring seven times.
He has arguably been Arsenal's stand-out performer in an otherwise disappointing campaign so far, and fans will be delighted to hear he has no plans of leaving.
