HITC Sport understands Luton Town striker is attracting interest.

A number of clubs are tracking in-form Luton Town striker Jack Marriott, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Marriott has been in outstanding form for Luton in recent weeks, with five goals in his last seven games, including the winner in last weekend's victory at Plymouth Argyle.

The 21-year-old has scored 13 goals in 20 starts for Luton since his arrival from Ipswich Town last summer.

The powerful forward began his career at Ipswich, but found his first-team opportunities limited making just three first-team appearances for the Portman Road outfit.

Marriott had loan spells at Woking, Gillingham and Carlisle during his time at Ipswich before linking up with League Two Luton at the end of last season.

Marriott initially signed a one-year deal at Kenilworth Road, but the club quickly tied him down to a longer deal after scoring twice in the League Cup upset victory over Championship side Bristol City.

The striker's prolific form has not gone unnoticed higher up the football pyramid with several League One sides keeping tabs on his progress.

The likes of Sheffield United, Bradford, Millwall and Coventry are all admirers of Marriott and are ready to test Luton's resolve to hang onto the striker in the summer.
