The 26-year-old Wales international is expected to be available on a Bosman this summer as a 12-year association with the Royals appears to be coming to an end, unless he signs a new deal.
According to The Mirror, top-flight outfit Swansea City are long-term admirers of the ex-Arsenal academy product, while HITC Sport revealed earlier this month that Southampton boss Ronald Koeman might also be interested.
However, although Robson-Kanu fails to say much on his future at the Madejski Stadium, he did state that he was not negotiating with any clubs, insisting that his focus is on helping Reading.
"There’s been no decisions made,” he told Get Reading. “I’m not talking to other clubs at this moment in time. My focus is on playing well for Reading, finishing the season strong and going into the European Championships flying.”
One would assume his first-team prospects would be better at Swansea than at Southampton, who sit 11 points and eight places above their Welsh counterparts in the Premier League table.
If Swansea are genuinely interested, Robson-Kanu might wait until their Premier League safety is a little more secure before making a concrete decision.
