The Albanian has been linked with taking over from Remi Garde at Villa Park.

It is looking increasingly likely that the Premier League’s bottom club Aston Villa are preparing for a future without Remi Garde as their head coach.

The Frenchman has struggled to improve results at the club since arriving in November and numerous reports are suggesting Villa will move him on in a massive shake-up at the club.

So who replaces him?

According to one report it looked as though Anderlecht head coach Besnik Hasi was set to be a shock replacement for the former Arsenal midfielder.

The Daily Mail reported that Hasi was in line for the role earlier this week. The 44-year-old Albanian, who spent six years with Anderlecht as a player, would have been a shock replacement considering his lack of Premier League experience.

But it seems the man himself is not currently interested. Belgian paper Derniere Heure is reporting that the manager’s entourage have informed them that Hasi is paying no attention to the links – preferring to concentrate on the job he is currently doing at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.

It may be he is willing to consider a move in the summer, but for now, it appears he is no mood to discuss a potential job at Villa Park.
