Aston Villa starlet Jack Grealish has revealed on Twitter that he is closing in on a return to full fitness following an injury-ravaged 2016 so far.
The 20-year-old has not made a Premier League appearance since January 2 as repeated ankle problems have taken their toll on the youngster's second half of the season.
However, he confirmed that he has started running outdoors once again, and posted via Twitter that he was "nearly there" in regards to his long-awaited comeback.

The problem for Villa is that it might well be too late for Grealish to play a role in their escape from relegation, with Remi Garde's side 12 points from safety with only seven games to play.
Surviving would be nothing short of miraculous, and it gets no easier as the Villans play host to Chelsea on Saturday week following the international break.
Grealish's last game in any competition for the club was their FA Cup exit by Manchester City on January 30.
