Indeed, the pundit has cited Sunderland's goalscoring prowess in the form of Jermain Defoe, their manager Big Sam and their 'professional' group of players.
That's despite Newcastle pegging them back to a draw on Sunday afternoon and Norwich currently sitting above both sides.
Round told Sky Sports News on Monday morning: "Sunderland are the best equipped to stay up. They’ve got a goalscorer, a manager who’s done it before and a group of serious professionals."
Defoe's goals have certainly made a huge difference for Sunderland and one can only imagine how much better Newcastle's season would be if they had just one player capable of scoring as often.
Norwich, however, have momentum on their side, having drawn with Manchester City and won at West Brom during their last two games.
Both Sunderland and Newcastle still have to face Norwich during their run-in - and the relegation battle could well be decided by those two games.
