Sheffield Wednesday striker Fernando Forestieri has paid a compliment to QPR's Alejandro Faurlin, adding that he would one day like to play alongside him.
Forestieri had sent Faurlin a message via Twitter, congratulating him for his weekend display for QPR against Reading.
Faurlin's performance saw him selected in whoscored.com's Team of the Weekend, alongside Sheffield Wednesday's Forestieri.
The Italian reached out to his pal to suggest he would not mind being in the same XI as Faurlin in reality too.
Luckily for Wednesday fans there seems little prospect of Forestieri quitting to push a move to QPR.
The more likely scenario for the duo to play together would be if the Owls clinch promotion to the Premier League, and make an attempt to try and sign the Argentine and benefit from his experience in the top flight.
Faurlin's contract at QPR expires at the end of the season, having signed a one-year deal a year ago, and he is yet to agree an extension.
The midfielder has bounced back from three serious knee injuries and continues to show his class, and if QPR do not tie him down, perhaps Forestieri will have a word with his bosses at Wednesday and recommend the 29-year-old.
