The Sun's edition on Saturday (page 48) claimed the two Championship promotion hopefuls are interested in the German striker.
Terodde plays for Bochum, who are currently fifth in the German second tier.
Terodde has scored 18 league goals this season, making him the joint highest scorer in the Bundesliga 2, along with Freiburg's Nils Petersen.
With a further three goals in four games, Terodde's tally of 21 for the season is an impressive one. He netted at the weekend in a 2-2 draw with Greuther Furth, making it eight goals in his last five games.
The Sun's report claims he is available for £1.5 million in the summer despite his exploits, with the Championship duo of Derby and Sheffield Wednesday hovering.
The 28-year-old's contract at Bochum expires in June 2017, which is why the interested clubs are in a strong position to get their man this summer.
