Former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United manager Harry Redknapp has picked Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana in his Premier League Team of the Weekend for The Telegraph.
Lallana featured in Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat to Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The England international attacking midfielder, who can also play as a winger, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The 27-year-old created four chances, had a pass accuracy of 90.7%, took 71 touches of the ball, attempted five dribbles, and made two tackles, one interception and one clearance.
Interestingly, Redknapp did not pick any Southampton player in his Premier League Team of the Weekend for The Telegraph, but he did make Saints boss Ronald Koeman his manager of the week.
Harry Redknapp’s Premier League Team of the Weekend: Kasper Schmeichel, Hector Bellerin, Chris Smalling, Wes Morgan, Martin Olsson, Jonathan Walters, Adam Lallana, Cesc Fabregas, Riyad Mahrez, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford
