Tottenham Hotspur youngster was delighted to be invited to train with the first team.
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Nya Kirby has sent a message acknowledging his call-up to train with the first team.
The 16-year-old midfielder was pictured at the end of last week in training alongside Dele Alli and record signing Erik Lamela, showing just how highly he is regarded at the club.
On Sunday, Kirby sent a message expressing his excitement at his opportunity, and explaining he was off to take part in international duty for England's under-16 side.
Kirby has been in Tottenham's academy for several seasons, and is part of a growing cast of young players who have received acknowledgement from Mauricio Pochettino.
With more strong progress, Kirby could stand a chance of making an appearance for Spurs in pre-season, but his realistic goal for 2016/17 will be to establish himself in the under-18s and featuring in their FA Youth Cup run, having made his first start at that level earlier this month.
