Liverpool fans would have been in disbelief as Jurgen Klopp's men let a two-goal lead slip. The weird feeling for Reds supporters would have been delight and a great deal of satisfaction with how they played in the first half.
But Martin Skrtel's introduction in the second half seemed to seal Liverpool's fate. The defender let his manager down big time.
Skrtel was at fault for all three goals and even gave away a penalty that Simon Mignolet saved.
Southampton, for their part, were still obviously brilliant to come back to win 3-2. And Le Tissier was delighted on social media as the equaliser went in:

The battle for European places is hotting up, as ever. Southampton are now just four points off fourth place, while Liverpool drop to a disappointing ninth, although they have played two games less than the Saints.
