The former Newcastle United star enjoyed the Serbian's celebration.
Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is a fantastic character and he certainly had an eventful day at St James Park this afternoon - in the Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland.
The Serbian scored what might prove a vital equaliser, picked up a yellow card for his celebration, got knocked out and then argued about coming back on whilst clearly concussed.
It was certainly a game that Newcastle fans won't forget for some time from their mercurial striker.
Then there was his celebration. The striker stripped of his Newcastle kit in joy and was then met by a rather over-exuberant Newcastle United fan - who has found his way onto the St James Park pitch.
But when the 6ft 3ins Serbian went to jump at him in celebration the exubernt fan seemed to fall to the ground and Mitrovic ended up jumping straight over him in a brilliantly amusing Premier League moment.
It clearly had one former Newcastle player, who himself has something of a fiery temperament, cheery on Twitter. Joey Barton sent this message:
Mitrovic has unfortunately not scored the amount of goals expected this season but if Newcastle can stay up there is no doubt this man has the potential to become a true fan favourite at St James' Park.
