Spurs defeated Bournemouth 3-0 at White Hart Lane today.
Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City both kept up the pressure in the title hunt this weekend.
Leicester beat Crystal Palace 1-0 yesterday but Spurs were the more impressive team in their win against Bournemouth today.
They romped to a 3-0 win against The Cherries at White Hart Lane - with Harry Kane again in superb form.
The England international took just 45 seconds to give Spurs the lead and went on to score again to take his tally in the Premier League this season to 21 goals.
It was a result and individual performance that even warranted a response from a former Tottenham striker.
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker sent this message, clearly pleased it is two of his former clubs seemingly in the race for the Premier League title - with his hometown club Leicester City still top of the Premier League:
2 goals already for Harry Kane. Really starting to look like a two-horse race between Leicester and Spurs. How the hell did that happen?— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) March 20, 2016
Leicester are currently eight points clear of Spurs but the London club were magnificent earlier today.
If they and Kane can continue that form then Leicester will need to keep a very close eye on their title rivals.
