Gary Lineker jokes about Everton, Tim Howard reacts on Twitter to Colorado Rapids move

The Toffees goalkeeper is leaving for MLS football.

Gary Lineker joked on Sunday afternoon that he'd be worried about waking up if Everton won the FA Cup.

Indeed, Lineker is delighted with how his former clubs are doing - Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona etc.

He played for the Toffees too, of course, and he joked about suspecting he was in a coma if Everton also went on to enjoy success in the FA Cup this season.

Lineker tweeted on Sunday:

Meanwhile, Tim Howard also took to social media after seeing a summer move to Colorado Rapids confirmed.

Howard has struggled badly for form this season but Roberto Martinez continually heaped praise on the shot stopper.

However, it appears reality took over from Martinez's fantasy and it was acknowledged that the goalkeeper is now well past his best and all set for MLS football:

Everton lost 2-0 to Arsenal on Saturday afternoon and travel to Manchester United in their next Premier League clash. In the Cup, the Toffees will face either West Ham or Man United at Wembley.
