Confirmed: Manchester City and Manchester United line-ups

Here is how Manchester City and Manchester United will line up this weekend:

Manchester City welcome Manchester United to the Etihad Stadium today as the two sides clash in a huge derby.

City are currently fourth in the Premier League, four points clear of sixth-placed United with nine matches remaining.

As a result this afternoon’s match is very much a six-pointer, with United knowing they can move to within a single point of Manuel Pellegrini’s men, who in turn would move seven points clear of the visitors with a win of their own.

United put in one of their best performances of the season in the first half against Liverpool on Thursday evening but having been eliminated from the Europa League they will know their only chance of qualifying for the Champions League is by ultimately overtaking City.

The two sides drew 0-0 at Old Trafford earlier in the campaign but that will not do either side many favours with West Ham currently splitting them and looking on course for a fine finish themselves.
