Arsenal legend Thierry Henry suggested on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning (broadcast from 10am, March 18) that West Ham United can finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
"If I can say that a team might edge it to be in the top four that we didn’t expect, I will put my money on West Ham because they still have to play Arsenal at Upton Park," said the former Arsenal striker when asked about West Ham's chances of a top-four finish. "We know that they are very consistent at their place. They are not bad away from home."
West Ham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 49 points from 29 matches.
The London outfit are just two points behind Manchester City, who are currently fourth in the standings and occupy the final Champions League spot.
Arsenal and City should still be favourites to finish in the top four along with Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur, but there is a chance that West Ham could sneak in.
The Hammers are playing well at the moment and are in good form, while both the Gunners and the Citizens have been struggling in recent weeks.
If West Ham can maintain consistency between now and the end of the season, then they could find themselves in the top four of the Premier League.
