West Ham United played out a 2-2 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage has suggested on social networking site Twitter that West Ham United were unlucky not to win against Chelsea in the London derby.

West Ham played out a 2-2 draw with Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers looked set for a 2-1 victory, but they conceded a penalty goal in the 89th minute of the encounter.

Michail Antonio was adjudged to have committed a foul on Ruben Loftus-Cheek inside the West Ham penalty box, and Cesc Fabregas made no mistake from the resulting spot kick.

Savage believes that the penalty should not have been given and has posted the following message on Twitter.

The draw with Chelsea means that West Ham remain fifth in the Premier League table.

The Hammers are now just a point behind Manchester City, who are currently fourth and have a game in hand.

City are in action on Sunday evening when they take on Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
