Derby County returned to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, as they got the better of Nottingham Forest 1-0 at home.
The Rams have not been in good form recently, but they managed to pick up all three points from the Championship encounter at the iPro Stadium.
Marcus Olsson’s goal in the 79th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides in the East Midlands derby.
Former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United manager Harry Redknapp was at the game. The Englishman was recently appointed as a football advisor by the Championship club.
Redknapp did not look too impressed with the football on show at the iPro Stadium (see photos below), but he will know that at the end of the day a win is all that matters.
The victory over Forest means that Derby remain in the Championship playoffs, and perhaps they could even push for a top-two finish in the coming weeks.
