Owen and Lineker react on Twitter to Leicester’s latest win

Leicester City

The Foxes moved eight points clear of Tottenham Hotspur with a win over Crystal Palace.

Michael Owen and Gary Lineker have reacted on Twitter to Leicester City going eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

The Foxes travelled to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on Saturday looking to extend their lead over Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the table.

They did just that, with a goal from Riyad Mahrez seeing them to a 1-0 win over a stubborn Palace side.

The result took them eight points clear of Spurs in second, who play on Sunday, while it also maintained their 11 point gap over Arsenal in third.

And Owen and Lineker shared their reaction on Twitter following the win alongside several others.

With just seven games remaining for the Foxes, it certainly seems as if the title is heading to the Kingpower Stadium at the end of the campaign.

They are doing it the hard way after a fantastic campaign though, having won four of their last four games by just the 1-0 scoreline.

So long as they keep winning though, their fans won’t be concerned one bit as the one time 5000-1 shots move closer to the most amazing of Premier League titles successes.
