Former Newcastle United and Manchester City midfielder Barton has picked Alli as his ‘Young Player of the Year’.
The Englishman has voted for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez as the ‘PFA Player of the Year’, but only after conducted a poll among his followers on Twitter.
The 25-year-old winger has scored 15 goals and created 47 chances in 29 Premier League appearances so far this season.
Mahrez has a pass accuracy of 73% and a shot accuracy of 62%, and has won 27 headers, 92 dribbles and 27 tackles.
