Hasselbaink sends strong message on Twitter ahead of Preston clash

Queens Park Rangers will take on Preston North End in the Championship this afternoon.

Queens Park Rangers manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has taken to social networking site Twitter to make it clear that he and his players are determined to end the season on a high.

Rangers are in good form at the moment, having won their last two Championship games.

The London outfit will be determined to make it three wins in a row this afternoon when they take on Preston North End away from home at Deepdale.

Hasselbaink has urged his players to pick up all three points this afternoon, and has assured the fans that they are keen on ending the season on a high.

QPR got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, and many fans would have expected them to at least finish in the Championship playoffs this campaign.

While there is still a chance that Rangers could do that, it is very unlikely that the London outfit will be able to end up in the top six.

Hasselbaink’s side are 11th in the league table at the moment with 50 points from 37 matches.

QPR are nine points behind Sheffield Wednesday, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
