The on-loan Middlesbrough talent is a former Leeds United youth-team player.

Leeds United will be hoping to win their fourth win on the bounce this weekend when they take on West Yorkshire derby rivals Huddersfield Town at Elland Road.

The club are going into the game on the back of three wins on the bounce v Bolton, Cardiff and Blackburn Rovers.

One of the Huddersfield players who will be looking forward to an Elland Road trip will be Middlesbrough loanee James Husband.

Husband is from Leeds and started his career with the Elland Road outfit. He was released when he was 16 and headed to Doncaster Rovers.

Speaking to the Huddersfield Examiner this week he admitted it will be a a bittersweet experience facing his boyhood club, but that he was ready to face off against his old team:

“I’m really looking forward to the game and it is sure to be a big one for all parties.

“It will be a bit bittersweet facing the side I’ve grown up supporting, but I want to play and help us win.”

Husband may not start the game, he was on the bench for their last fixture, but he will surely hope that Town boss David Wagner will give him a chance against his former team.

Leeds United fans will just be hoping the Boro-owned player does not come back to haunt them this weekend.
