Aston Villa teenager Andre Green was delighted to have received another 30 Premier League minutes as his side lost 1-0 at Swansea City on Saturday evening.

As such, the talented youngster took to Twitter to highlight his pleasure from a personal note.

Naturally, however, Green couldn't help but feel 'gutted' for the side as a whole.

This time, a Brad Guzan error was responsible for Aston Villa's defeat, with the Midlands outfit losing thanks to a set-piece winner from the visiting Swans.

Aston Villa face Chelsea and Bournemouth in the Premier League next and have been preparing for life in the Championship with a boardroom shake-up already this week.

Remi Garde's future is uncertain and it's clear the Villa squad also needs a massive overhaul.

The likes of Green offer hope for the future at Villa Park, though, and Garde could do worse than giving a few more youngsters the chance to impress for the first team during the remainder of the season.
