West Ham United supporters are delighted with the news that Cheikhou Kouyate has signed a new long-term contract at the club.
Kouyate put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the London club until 2021 earlier today.
The Senegalese international has been in brilliant form for West Ham this season, and supporters of Slaven Bilic’s side are excited to see how he develops.
Kouyate has been with West Ham since 2014, and he has enjoyed a wonderful first two seasons in English football.
The powerful midfielder has established himself as one of West Ham’s most integral players, and he has racked up 56 Premier League appearances already.
This total looks set to increase considerably over the coming years, now that the 26-year-old has committed his future, and Hammers supporters could only praise the club for getting one of their prized assets tied down.
